WOTC Book Series Update

Since, I forgot to make a post this week, I decided to share some updates on my books. I’m super excited about all the new things going on in my made up world. To find out more about my book, check out the stories of the characters linked below and read the first 3 chapters.

Read the first 3 chapters

WOTC Book 1: The Lucin Stone

Book 1 is currently with beta readers. Want to help out a writer while also reading an epic novel? There is still chance to sign up!

Beta info here.

None of my beta readers have finished the story yet, but one is close! Feedback has been pretty positive so far. Based on some of the feedback I received, I’m going to be making a few minor changes and I also added a new chapter. It’s close to done. I have to edit it at least 2 more times before I send it off to a beta.

Book 1 is mostly on the back burning because I have been working on book 2. After book 1 is done with the beta process, I’m going to be editing it all over again. At least 3-4 times. That’s quite a lot, but I want to polish it up the best I can before I send it to an editor.

WOTC Book 2: Untitled

This book has grown immensely since I started dumping ideas on my computer, so much I have to split it into 2 parts. 2 PARTS! It’s like TWO books in one. I’m not kidding. The first part contains 4 POVs and the 2nd part 5 POVs. That’s a total of 9 POVs. Part 1 is going to have at least 47 chapters. :O

I know that seems crazy, but each of these character’s stories are important and they all link together in some way. One thing that I have to make certain is that I don’t spoil anything in the first part.

I was terrified of starting this book because I didn’t think I could do the characters justice. Boy was I wrong. These characters are really coming to life. I’m still skeptical of my abilities, though. Some characters aren’t quite there yet, but I hope they will come to me once I write for them.

I have only written a few chapters, but I love it already! Sorry book 1, but this one is kicking your ass. It’s going to take me longer to finish, but I’m determined to do it!

The reason I decided to split up the book is because it’s less confusing for me and the readers. Also, readers might forget about some characters since they don’t appear as often.

That’s pretty much what I’ve been up to. I don’t have a set release date for book 1 yet. I really want to get it out there. I’m trying my hardest to make it the best it can be. I don’t want to release it too soon.
